If you fail to arrive for a scheduled appointment, in person or via telehealth, without cancelling at least 24 hours in advance, a $100 missed appointment fee applies. Repeated missed appointments may affect your ability to schedule in the future.

Medication management is an ongoing process in which a psychiatric provider evaluates your symptoms, prescribes appropriate medication when indicated, and monitors response and side effects over time. It often works best alongside therapy or counseling.

How do I request a prescription refill?

Accepted Answer

Call the office at least 72 hours before you need your refill, or send a secure message through the patient portal with "prescription refill" in the subject line. Refills are only completed for patients seen by their provider within the past three months who have an upcoming scheduled appointment. We do not accept refill requests from pharmacies by fax or phone.

What is the difference between therapy, counseling, and psychiatry?

Counseling and therapy focus on talking through challenges, building coping skills, and processing experiences with a licensed counselor or social worker. Psychiatry is provided by physicians and nurse practitioners who can evaluate, diagnose, and prescribe medication. Many patients benefit from a combination of both.
